This is a comm focussing on historical drama and historical fantasy.
Although it was initially created to give Tumblr Da Vinci's Demons fans somewhere more suitable for discussion a place to post meta and hold rewatches, any and all other historical tv shows/films/miniseries are all welcome, including, but not limited to, The Borgias, The Tudors, White Queen, Black Sails, Versailles, Indian Summers, Peaky Blinders, Deadwood, Spartacus, Pride and Prejudice, The Knick, Vikings, etc.

Like the sophisticated television horror series that inspired it, they are set in the late Victorian era. I was very disappointed when Penny Dreadful ended - thus I decided to write my own stories, and continue the tales of these wonderful characters I'd come to love.

Nov. 4th, 2017 07:35 pmscripsiI’m very fond of Versailles, and Fabien Marchal is one of my favourite characters. I very much enjoy the dynamic he has with Sophie. I doubt they will ever get together in the show, but luckily there is such a thing as fanfiction. I had not planned writing a whole series, but somehow that was how it ended up. The power balance between them are seriously skewed, and I wanted to write a story where their relationship ended up more. The first part can, if you squint a little, fit in between season 1 and 2. The rest of the fics are canons divergent. The fics vary in rating and warnings, but all sex is consensual. The links go to AO3.
