I wrote several Borgias fics for Yuletide:

My assignment: The Beloved Henchman
Post-canon. Cesare is alone; Lucrezia is mourning Alfonso, his parents are angry with him, and he misses Micheletto more than ever. And then Cesare's prayers are answered, for Micheletto returns to him.

Together We're Invincible
A treat fic for my recipient, again touching on reunions, and the relationships between Cesare, Lucrezia, and Micheletto. Future fic. Cesare and his father have both been taken ill – poisoned, most likely - and in his delirium Cesare is heartened by a hallucination of Micheletto. Except Micheletto is no vision but flesh and blood, returned to the Borgia family at their time of greatest need.

Even if I Must Tame Cerberus A treat fic with more h/c, again exploring the Cesare/Micheletto/Lucrezia dynamic. When Micheletto is injured while saving Cesare's life, Lucrezia struggles to save him while dealing with her own grief and that of her brother. Micheletto is too important to them both; he must live, whatever it takes.

The Cardinal's New Pants Silly treat fic. Lucrezia and Micheletto discuss Cesare's wardrobe, in particular *those* pants.

I also wrote a Black Sails fic for Yuletide:

Bless Me Father For I Wish To Sin Treat fic for the modern au and religious kink prompts. Father Flint discovers more than he bargained for when he takes yet another confession from the not-truly-penitent John Silver. For one thing, they both know a liar when they see one.

Da Vinci's Demons
The Dark Mirror of Your Soul (Da Vinci's Demons, Leo & Riario (gen), trope bingo prompt Secret Twin/Doppelganger)
summary/preview: Leo is imprisoned with no obvious way out; Riario has one idea, if Leo will listen. But things are not quite what they seem.
content notes: No standard warnings apply.

Black Sails AU: Never make a deal with a witch. It's all fun and games until someone gets cursed

"You made a deal with a sea witch?"
Silver shrugged helplessly. Flint leaned forward. "She took your voice. That was the price."
Silver scrawled on the parchment again.
SHE LIED TO ME
"Well, witches do that, or so the stories say," Flint mused.

Fantasy AU in which Silver makes an ill-advised deal with a sea witch and Flint helps him out because he's a stupid little shit sometimes but it's becoming obvious that he's Flint's stupid little shit of a quarter master.

There's a great overview of the first couple of seasons of Black Sails by [personal profile] selenak, Black Sails: Why Everyone Should Watch It! first posted 2015. Well worth a look if you're still considering if it's worth starting watching, or are a fan who likes meta, or you want to convince others to join you in your watching of the show.

For the [livejournal.com profile] a_war_of_roses "Fandom History 101" challenge; 3/5 Black Sails

Title: Black Sails
Format: TV Show
Era/Location: 1700's
Brief Summary: 2 decades before Treasure Island, Nassau is a haven for pirates and as the series begins two crews compete for treasure, the location to which a young John Silver holds the key.
Why you like it/would recommend it: I'll be honest, I was sceptical at first about the inclusion of fictional John Silver with real-life pirates like Charles Vane and Anne Bonney. The first season however gave us not only plenty of sea-faring action – with drama, humour, romance and more - but other storylines such as Eleanor Guthrie trying to make her mark as "ruler" of Nassau, Jack Rackham and Anne Bonney ending up owning the brothel, and the introduction of Flint's mysterious friend Miranda. The second season however really pulled out the stops and made me love Silver and the Silver/Flint interaction, and the reveal of Miranda's backstory was beautifully done, as was Max's transformation from prostitute to savvy brothel madam with a stake in finding the treasure. There are plenty of male and female characters, bi/gay characters and relationships, and hints of polyamory. There's some great sets and costumes and some lovely – real, not wigs! – hair :) The cast is good, largely Australian and British, and fans of "Merlin" will recognise Tom Hopper, here playing Billy Bones. This article 6 reasons you should be watching Black Sails echoes my sentiments about the depth of s2 and Silver's development and praises Luke Arnold for his performance as Silver.
